Comedian Rory Scovel has been making waves for the past few years. He’s been on Conan, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and has made a pretty good buzz on the stand-up circuit.
Scovel seems to have been doing something right. He’s done enough to spark interest in ABC who decided he would be a perfect fit for their new family sitcom.
ABC is in the midst of developing a new sitcom called Big Children. The show will be written and co-produced by Scott Marder of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
The show will be a half-hour family segment with multiple cameras. The focal plot will be centered on a middle aged-only child (Scovel) who under some dire circumstance is forced to move back home with his parents. Though his parents are now retired and digress back into a childish state of being, this surely creates some sort of conflict for Scovel’s character.
